Happy St. Pat's!

I'm sad to report that we were unable to capture Liam the Leprechaun. It appears that he may have fallen for the bait, fell through the trap door, but was able to escape from the trap. It apears he then ran from the trap to the window, lassoed the window and shimmied up the string. We found the telltale coins and string in the basement this morning. Yes, we like to eff with our 3 year old while we still can and make up some elaborate stuff in order to do so. It's fun.

I think she was secretly glad he had "escaped".

Hope you are all enjoying some green beer or at least Leprechaun in the Hood. That's a classic, right?

Ha that's pretty funny. We had a thing with our daughter and Santa. We kept her believing well past the normal years because Santa always brought stuff we refused to buy. Makeup, cd's with inappropriate language (well not when she was little but you get the drift) and just the weird kids stuff that parents don't buy. Also we used to have the dog bring her stuff, we'd bite the edge of the box so it looked like he carried it in to her room himself. All the kids wanted Jack Russell Terriers after she told the class in first grade. Buster brought her a big pink feathery fan she wanted.. kind of fan dancer style for little kids. I had told her no way, but good old Buster had it all wrapped up in fancy paper and satin ribbon. What a great dog he was!
